Texas Gulf Coast Refinery
This HCL Scrubber, for the off gases from Regeneration of Catalyst (CRU),
was purchased by a Texas Gulf Coast Refinery in 2005. The efficiency
was
greater than 97%; meeting EPA MACT II standards. The system is
skid
mounted
with redundant recirculation and is manufactured out of
Hastelloy C-276.
There were a total of two systems purchased.
Lab Scrubber Application
A fortune 500 chemical company moved their laboratory to North Houston
where they needed new air abatement equipment. Ceilcote was the logical
choice due to years of experience with applications that consisted of small
flows with multiple chemicals in the waste gas stream. We provided 2 large
cross flow scrubbers and one vertical tower that had to fit in a 25’ x 35’ roof top.
Composite Pipe Manufacturer
The nations largest composite pipe manufacturer had years of trouble with
a competitors Oxidizer. They called on Anguil to solve their problem in
which we provided a 50,000 SCFM Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO).
We also provided the installation and the Dust Collector on this application
illustrating our turn key capabilities.

A 25,000 CFM RTO for a Cabinet Coating Operation
Anguil’s experience in the coating industry was called upon again with this
25,000 CFM RTO for a wood cabinet operation in central Texas.
We performed this project turnkey; providing the ductwork, all tie-ins to the
customers existing operation and the dust collector in front of this Two-Bed
Poppet Valve Design.
FRP Grating and Handrails for ROV Retrieval Skid
This customer used FRP Grating and FRP Handrails for their Remote
Operated Vehicle (ROV) Retrieval Skid. FRP was the perfect choice for
this application because of its corrosion resistance to salt water along
with weight savings plus easy of installation. We fabricated these materials
to the customers design and specification thus saving installation time
with pre-fabricated sections.
Waste Water Treatment Walkways
EPI was contracted to engineer and manufacture these FRP Walkways
and Stair Towers to meet tough WWTP specifications. The support legs,
beams, grating, handrails are manufactured exclusively out of FRP.
